'Translating our knowledge of the DNA damage response into clinical benefits for patients with ovarian cancer.' Led by Professor Richard Edmondson, Clinical Professor in Gynaecological Oncology at the University of Manchester, this project set out to define the DNA damage response defects in high grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) to predict patients' response to chemotherapy and the likelihood of recurrence.
