8th grader Swaroopa Nikam shares how a decade of practicing Kathak, an Indian classical dance, taught her to speak without saying a word. She has dedicated over ten years to mastering Kathak, earning several classical dance certifications. Swaroopa is also a passionate musician, playing the bansuri along with flute in her school band. Fascinated by the brain and the science of how we think, learn, and create, she bridges arts and science with focus and determination. Through her hard work, resilience, and dedication, Swaroopa strives to inspire others and make a meaningful impact.
