The guidelines we give TEDx organizers are described in more detail here: http://storage.ted.com/tedx/manuals/tedx_content_guidelines.pdf What if the most powerful manifestation tool isn’t a vision board or a hollow affirmation — but a book? In this talk, Karishma challenges popular myths about manifestation and introduces a powerful idea: manifestation begins with belief, and reading is one of the most authentic and effective tool to build that unshakable belief. Drawing on her personal journey and the reading habits of visionaries such as Oprah Winfrey, Elon Musk, and A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, she reveals how books shape beliefs — and how beliefs shape the reality we create. After losing her father during the COVID-19 pandemic, Karishma Babulal found herself searching for guidance, hope, and direction. She discovered it in the pages of Rich Dad Poor Dad. What began as a simple reading habit transformed her beliefs and ultimately led her to meet the book’s author, Robert Kiyosaki, three years later. Her message is simple: The more you read, the more you believe. The more you believe, the more you manifest. This talk offers a fresh perspective on manifestation — not as magic or wishful thinking, but as a process rooted in belief, learning, and your power to manifest. An engineer and former IT professional, she quit her high-paying 9-to-5 corporate career after manifesting a magical meeting with Rich Dad Poor Dad author Robert Kiyosaki - an experience that reshaped her understanding of vision, faith, and intentional action. She later shared the stage with him before an audience of 5,000+ people and engaged in meaningful conversations on belief, legacy, and financial education. Karishma is on a mission to spark a reading revolution because she believes reading books build belief and clarity the true ingredients for manifesting your dreams. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
