In this video I take a look at the Nebo Transport 400—an oddly designed, borderline OCD-enraging little combo tool that’s trying to be a vehicle emergency light, a charger, and a glass-breaker all in one. On paper it’s kind of a weird mashup, but once you actually think about “keep it in the car and forget about it until you need it,” it starts making a lot more sense. You get four main white-light modes, plus two red modes that I honestly consider pretty useless for most people. Where this thing gets interesting is the practicality: an integrated glass breaker, and two charge ports so you can top off a phone or other small gear in a pinch. The biggest frustration for me wasn’t even the design—it was the instructions. The QR code on the package doesn’t work, and the PDF on the website is not great at explaining some functions. So I walk through what it is, what it does well, what’s annoying, and why it still might be a surprisingly useful emergency tool to toss in the glovebox.
