In this video I show you the quickest ways to factory reset a Sharp TV, including what to do when you don’t have a working remote. I keep it simple: start with the normal on-screen path—Menu/Settings → System (or Initial Setup) → Factory Reset → Reset/Reset TV—then confirm the prompts. Depending on your model, you might need to enter a PIN or tap “Yes,” and after that the TV restarts and drops you back into the initial setup like it’s brand new. If the TV is frozen, glitching, or you can’t even get into menus, I walk through two “no-jargon” physical-button options. First is the basic power discharge: unplug the TV, press and hold the TV’s power button for about 30 seconds, wait a minute, then plug it back in and power on—often that’s enough to regain menu access and finish the reset. Last, for tougher cases, I show the service-menu reset: unplug, hold Input + Volume Down on the TV, plug back in while holding until the blue/service menu appears, then set “Industry Init” to “When” and follow the prompts to complete the reset.
