In Part 5 of my Meteor tutorial series, I finally deal with the thing that’s been annoying me from the start: light mode. I’m sick of it. So in this video I push the project toward a proper dark-mode look and, more importantly, I show you how to make the styling apply consistently across the whole app instead of doing random one-off CSS hacks per page. The key piece is implementing a route renderer (think of it as the “wrapper” for your routes) so every route gets the same general layout and styling rules. This is where you centralize the global UI decisions—theme, spacing, and the overall feel—so your pages don’t look like they were built by five different people. I also point you to the tools I’m using (like Ant Design) and where you can grab the full codebase and step-by-step material, so you can follow along and compare your implementation with mine as you build out the microblogging site.
