In Lesson 4 of my Financial Literacy course, I focus on the “how” of saving—because most people don’t struggle with understanding that saving is good, they struggle with actually getting it to happen consistently. I talk about how your bank can help you save money in a very practical way, especially when you set things up so saving happens automatically and you don’t have to rely on willpower every month. The goal is to build savings over time, bit by bit, in a way that feels manageable. I also cover what you should be saving for, because “just save” is too vague to be useful. I break it down into the kinds of targets that make sense in real life—starting with the basics and working toward bigger goals—so you can give your savings a job.
