About This Video

Today I reviewed the brand new RayNeo X3 Pro glasses that just launched, and honestly, these are some of the craziest “normal-looking” HUD glasses I’ve tested. They’re dual-lens, full-color display glasses in a much smaller form factor than most competitors, and they even look pretty similar to my Meta Ray-Ban Wayfarers—just a bit heavier at 76g and with nose pads. The big headline is the display: dual full-color lenses that feel way clearer than single-display options, with up to 6,000 nits peak brightness and a screen that looks like a ~43-inch display floating out in front of you. In the video I walk through the UI (it’s super easy to navigate with taps, holds, double taps, and swipes on both temples) and all the main apps: camera + album (with HUD screen recording), AI recording that can transcribe and summarize using Gemini, a voice-driven to-do app, media controls with different sound modes, live translation in 14 languages (bilingual mode is awesome), and AR Maps navigation (my favorite feature). I also compare them to Meta display glasses: X3 Pro wins on dual-lens clarity, bigger-feeling screen, and what looks like more expansive app support. The big con is battery life—less than an hour—so if you want to use these all day, charging while you wear them is basically a necessity.
