We decided to visit and explore Redding to celebrate our anniversary (also just an excuse for an overdue weekend getaway since COVID started...). Prior to planning this trip, I had no idea where Redding was! We almost didn't go because Andrew got shingles right before the trip. That's also why he's wearing glasses in the video 😂. It is definitely worth a visit if you've never been :) Redding is a city in Northern California. It was about a 3-hour drive from north bay. For day 1, we went to explore the Whiskeytown Lake and the Sundial Bridge. Spanning the Sacramento River, the Sundial Bridge is a suspension bridge that also acts as a huge, working sundial.
