Even though both Stephanie and I went to UCLA for undergrad at the same time, we didn't officially meet until we were both working at a traditional media company years ago. I wanted to talk to Steph because just like me, she didn't take the expected path. Although she was a science major at UCLA, she self-taught to become a journalist after graduating because there was an opportunity. While she transitioned to entertainment reporting, she got to visit movie sets, premieres, and festivals. It may seem glamorous on the surface, but there were a lot of self-doubt and getting out of the comfort zone. And now, she's starting a new journey to become a full time yogi.
