In this Midnight WoW video, I break down my top 3 crafting professions for goldmaking—purely from my subjective point of view—so yeah, you might not agree with all of them. I’m also not talking gathering here (herb/mining are always great because you’re trading time for gold). Crafting is different: you’re trading knowledge for gold, and that’s where the big swings happen when demand actually shows up. First up is Enchanting. Two weeks ago everyone was screaming “enchanting is dead,” and I kept telling people to just wait for raids, Mythic+, and the season to start. Once demand kicks in, concentration crafts start printing again—like the Verdant Eye enchant where I’m seeing thousands of gold profit per craft, and if you optimize concentration costs you can push huge weekly gold across multiple enchanters. On top of that, enchanting is basically free to skill, has great catch-up, and the moxie bag can instantly pay you back. Second is Alchemy because it’s flexible: I can shift between profession flasks, combat flasks, and potions depending on what’s actually profitable right now. Third is Jewelcrafting, mainly for Kaleidoscopic Prisms and the long-term reality that gems stay in demand. I also like JC patron orders way more because resourcefulness can “steal” valuable dust/gems and stack extra profit over time.
