In this video I’m covering two things that have been happening in the goldmaking space lately, and both of them are honestly kind of insane in different ways. First, Blizzard did this super weird recipe swap where a bunch of profession recipes went from soulbound (BoP) to warbound… and then 3–4 days later a bunch of them got hotfixed back to soulbound again with basically no warning. The part that tilts me is there’s zero coherency: two housing recipes can cost the same moxie and voidlight mall, yet one is warbound and the other is BoP. I got lucky because I had a stack of recipes sitting in my warband bank, but if you bought a bunch on one character you could’ve straight up wasted a ton of resources. Then we’ve got what I’m calling the WoWStreetBets era: players coordinating huge buyouts on “boring” but high-volume materials like Plant Protein and Practically Pork, pumping prices hard, and dumping into demand for massive profit. I’m seeing stuff go from around 1g to 4g+ in a day, and I even grabbed some cheap stock for personal use when it was low. The takeaway is simple: watch for sudden pumps, don’t get caught buying at the top, and if you’re going to stockpile, do it when supply is clearly oversaturated—not when the mafia’s already running the show.
