In this video I’m talking about the Abundance Event in Midnight WoW, because yeah… it STILL sucks. Blizzard un-nerfed it so it’s basically impossible to not hit max rewards now, which is a huge W compared to the old lag-fest days where you’d struggle to cap. But the event is still boring, repetitive, and it straight up doesn’t respect your time—especially when epic profession tools are tied to it. If you’re trying to fully tool out characters, you’re looking at 18–20 weeks of doing the same 8 identical runs per week, and that’s before you even factor in alts. I also go over the current “don’t grief yourself” setup: avoid 40-man groups. The more people you cram into an Abundance run, the higher the chance it bugs out—either you don’t get teleported out, or worse, you get teleported out and don’t get rewards, which just wastes a shard. I’ve found 20–25 players tends to be the sweet spot. Then I give three fixes Blizzard could implement immediately: let us deposit all shards at once for multiplied rewards, add a flat 5,000 Unalloyed Abundance weekly payout to reduce RNG/time-gating pain, and add an alternate way to get Fevus Vitality by converting Moxie into it. The event being “tolerable” is not a win—this is the kind of QoL that should be in early, not saved for some random future patch.
