In this video I’m basically doing a semi-rant (with an actual test) about people saying Herbalism + Mining in Midnight WoW “isn’t worth it.” I saw a post on r/woweconomy claiming they made 6,300 gold in an hour and that 10k–30k per hour is a myth, and honestly… I don’t understand how you can be that low unless you’re farming incredibly wrong. Prices are up a lot now that raids and the season are out—herbs have almost doubled, and a bunch of rank 2 ores (plus stuff like Brilliant Silver and Umbral Tin) have been going up like crazy. With Mythic raid and Mythic+ opening, demand usually ramps even harder. So I went out and tested gathering in Suramar on a super bare-bones setup: green tools, no enchants, no flasks/files, no food, no stone buffs, and I’m even playing two characters (which is slower because of alt-tabbing and extra dismounts). Even with all that, I’m sitting around 12,000 gold in 28 minutes—about 25,000 gold per hour as a bottom line. I also show my current knowledge point situation and spec choices, explain why I prioritize skill points, and I go over the simple consumes that are basically free gold if you’re not using them.
