Hey, hey guys—today’s realistic homemaking motivation video is a true mix of real life and getting things done. I’m cleaning several spaces in our home, doing my routine daily load of laundry, starting on a few home projects, and decorating using what I already have. After the last couple of videos where I used a lot of products, you’ll see that my main “go-to” cleaner in this one is just warm water with a few drops of Dawn dish detergent. Sometimes that’s honestly all you really need, especially when you pair it with a wet and dry microfiber cloth. I tackle my home office/bookcase shelves (keeping our favorite books and memorabilia baskets, and styling with bowls, faux florals, and framed Amazon prints), clean windows and TVs without specialty wipes, and work on Max’s crate setup and laundry. The next day I keep going—broken toe and all—cleaning and decorating the guest bedroom and then deep-cleaning the home gym, which was the dirtiest space of the day. And of course, I’m cooking while I’m cleaning: homemade spaghetti with leftover meatballs, using my usual sauce mix and seasoning it well. I wrap it up by mopping with the Swiffer and calling it a night—clean, cozy, and simple.
