She’s still bedridden and was diagnosed with cancer in December, so I really want to go over the top with decorations, food, family, and friends. I’ll be honest—I’ve had the worst case of anxiety the past couple of weeks, but after taking time to relax and be with family, I’m feeling better and ready to jump back into a routine. Day one starts with me deep cleaning and tidying my oldest son’s bedroom, plus some laundry motivation (yes, it’s sheet day). I share how I like to dust first before I deep clean, and I talk about what I’m using—like Pledge on wood furniture (and what to do if you use too much). Day two is all about a kitchen reset, then deep cleaning, decluttering, and organizing my oldest son’s bathroom—vanity drawers, cabinets, and a full restock using items from our linen closet. I also walk you through my Amazon decor haul for the party, including banners, table runners, chair sashes, dinnerware, party favors, and even bingo supplies—because bingo is mom’s favorite.
