In this video I’m unboxing the new iPhone 17e in the Soft Pink color, and I was genuinely so excited because Apple finally dropped a pink that’s actually my vibe. I know some people wanted a hot pink, but this one is super subtle and light—like the perfect baby pink with slightly darker edges. I also go over where the 17e fits in the iPhone 17 lineup, why it’s the cheapest option, and what you’re giving up compared to something like the 17 Pro Max. I also unbox and try the Apple clear MagSafe case, because I really didn’t want to cover up this color. The combo is so cute, but I do mention the downsides: it’s super shiny (so fingerprints show fast) and it’s open at the bottom, which isn’t the most protective. Then I set the phone up, talk through specs like the A19 chip, 256GB starting storage, and the 6.1-inch display, and I test the camera against my 17 Pro Max—colors are a little darker on the 17e and details aren’t as strong, but it’s still pretty okay.
