In this video I’m upgrading the front end of my Tesla Model Y with an aggressive front bumper lip, and I walk you through the install from start to finish. This is one of those simple mods that makes the car look lower, wider, and way more “performance” without going crazy with a full body kit. If you’ve ever looked at the stock Model Y front and thought it could use a little more attitude, this is exactly the kind of change that hits hard for the money. I’m using a 3-piece ABS front lip that’s designed to fit Model Y 2020+, and I like the split design because it makes the install more manageable and can help with impact absorption if you scrape. It’s also doing double duty: it gives you that sporty splitter look, and it helps protect the original bumper from the day-to-day stuff like scrapes and scratches.
