In this video I’m showing you the real aftermath of my 2026 Tesla Model Y Juniper crash, and I’m not sugarcoating it. I was driving in heavy snowfall on an icy, snow-covered road, came into a roundabout, and the car just lost traction on black ice. It wasn’t about me flying through it—traction can disappear instantly when the road is snow-packed and glazed over, and that’s exactly what happened. I slid right into the vehicle in front of me and the front bumper took the hit. My big takeaway is that winter conditions change everything, even in a Tesla with traction control and all the safety systems. This is more of a winter-driving awareness video than anything else—because a lot of Tesla owners (and EV drivers in general) assume the car will “save it” when the road turns to ice.
