In this video I’m not trying to dunk on Tesla Full Self-Driving — I use it a lot, and it’s genuinely impressive — but daily driving exposes a few things that still bug me. I break down five specific frustrations I keep running into across freeway driving, city streets, and parking situations, because these are the moments where FSD feels less “smooth robot chauffeur” and more “why are you doing that right now?” First, the speed behavior can be wild: there’s no real speed limit cap in certain situations, so on wide or empty roads it’ll push way too fast and it honestly feels like “Mad Max mode.” On the freeway, lane changes can take forever, and right-on-red turns are often overly cautious and slow. Parking is still not great either — Auto Park can be unreliable and sometimes picks awkward or random spots. I also talk about sudden speed changes when the posted limit changes, which can be uncomfortable and confusing for everyone in the car. And finally, sign reading is still inconsistent — special parking signs and right-on-red rules get ignored or misunderstood. Bottom line: FSD is close, but these are the real-world edges Tesla needs to polish.
