In this video I’m working with Unice Hair Amazon and I’m showing y’all how I got that silk press look with a natural yaki straight wig. This is their “no slip” glueless wig in the black yaki straight texture, and it honestly turned out so nice. I walk you through the inside construction so you can see why it’s so secure—flexible mesh cap, silicone stripes inside, a drawstring back, and this skinny elastic band that’s literally like a bra strap (I had never seen that before, but I liked it). It also comes with pre-cut lace, pre-bleached knots, and a pre-plugged hairline, and the knots were bleached really well which helps it look natural. For the install, it’s literally put it on, tighten the adjustable strap and drawstring, and you’re done—no glue, gel, or spray. That’s my favorite kind of wig because I love being able to take it off as soon as I get home. I’m wearing 24 inches here, and yaki straight is always going to give “my hair but better.” I did a quick wax stick + hot comb on top and a speed straighten with a flat iron just to get the little bumps from packaging out, but straight out the box it’s beginner-friendly and basically ready to go.
