This was a proper “Testing, testing, hello” kind of stream where I basically stress-tested my new internet and my setup. I’m streaming at 1440p/60fps with a frankly unhinged bitrate (50 megabits) and, shockingly, it actually worked. Chat confirmed you can flip it to 1440p, and I was sat there like, “Holy crap.” The annoying part? Even with 920 down and 107 up on speed tests, my YouTube uploads are suddenly slower than they used to be, which makes zero sense when streaming is totally fine. Then I jumped into Baby Steps, which is this weird, hilarious mountain-climbing game where you control each step and spend half your life falling over, sacrificing your ankles (and… other body parts) to rocks. The cutscenes are genuinely funny, the vibe is pure chaos, and the big takeaway is: 1440p streams look gorgeous now—if only YouTube would let me upload at the speed my internet is clearly capable of.
