In this video I break down what it is, how to access it, and what it’s actually telling you. The score runs from 1 to 100, and when you tap the little eye icon you can see the basics that make it up: sleep duration, bedtime consistency, and interruptions. In my opinion it’s super simple—maybe too simple—because sleep is way more complex than one number. But there’s more under the hood. If you scroll down past the score, you can see more useful details like wake time, REM, and deep sleep. The biggest takeaway I found is that Sleep Score feels less like “sleep science” and more like a grade for sleep hygiene—did you go to bed when you said you would, and did you stay asleep without getting interrupted. It’s a little gimmicky, but it’s also a great way to get started with sleep tracking without getting obsessed, and you still have the option to deep dive if you want.
