About This Video

I’ve been using the Apple Watch Series 11 for the past couple of weeks, and even though I’m not a smartwatch fanatic, it genuinely surprised me. In this review I break down what’s actually new (and what really isn’t) compared to the Series 10. Spoiler: it’s the same overall design and core experience, but you’re getting a noticeable battery bump, better screen durability, and optional 5G connectivity—so it’s more of an update than a full-on refresh. I went with the smaller 42mm in black, and I really like how sleek it looks—especially with the edge-to-edge always-on display. It’s super light, to the point where I forget it’s on, which matters because I wear it basically 24/7: work, workouts, calls, and sleep tracking. I talk about features like Sleep Score (available back to Series 6) and the new Workout Buddy AI companion, plus the day-to-day reality of using watchOS on a tiny screen (texting… my gosh). My big takeaway: Series 11 is a “blink and you’ll miss it” upgrade over Series 10, but as a whole package it’s still an amazing smartwatch for staying active and tracking health. I rated it an 8.5/10—pricey, not a designer watch, and Siri still isn’t it, but it’s been genuinely fun and useful.
