Road to Mt Cook | Tasman Glacier Hike & Scenic Ride | RTW S6 EP32 Riding from Cromwell to Aoraki / Mt Cook, we take on one of the best motorcycle roads in New Zealand over the Lindis Pass before turning onto the iconic Mt Cook Road. This is what motorcycle touring in New Zealand is all about. From wide open roads to glacier views, we hike to the Tasman Glacier viewpoint for one of the best views in the country. Just as we’re about to leave, something completely unexpected happens… a group of endangered kea land right beside us. The next day, we planned to hike the famous Hooker Valley Track, but it was closed, so we took on the Sealy Tarns track instead. Thousands of steps later, we’re rewarded with panoramic views over Aoraki / Mt Cook National Park, glacial lakes, and some of the most dramatic scenery we’ve ever seen. We’re riding two-up around the world on our BMW R1300 GSA, documenting the entire journey as we travel across continents, countries, and some of the best roads on earth. If you’re planning a New Zealand road trip, a South Island itinerary, or looking for the best motorcycle routes in New Zealand, this is a must-do ride. 🛒 Our Travel Shop: Explore our travel-tested gear & stickers: https://seanandemilytravels.com/shop 🗺️ Navigation App – calimoto: Get a 30-day free trial ➤ Use code: S&E30 Get 10% off yearly plans ➤ Use code: S&E10 Start here: https://linktr.ee/calimoto_SeanandEmily 🛟 Travel Safety – Protected by Global Rescue: Worldwide emergency rescue, evacuation, and medical support for overlanders:
