The Catlins is one of the most untouched regions in the country, known for its wild coastline, native forest, empty roads and dramatic scenery, making it one of the best places in New Zealand for an adventure motorcycle ride or South Island road trip. After riding some of the hidden gravel roads through the forest, we continue the journey to one of the Catlins’ most famous natural landmarks, the Cathedral Caves, a spectacular coastal cave system carved into the cliffs along the rugged southern shoreline of New Zealand.
