S06 EP47 | The South Island Just Keeps Delivering After days of rain and difficult riding conditions, New Zealand finally gave us one of those road trip days you never want to end. In this episode of our round the world journey, we leave Greymouth and ride north through the South Island towards Collingwood, stopping in the historic town of Reefton before taking on the famous Takaka Hill road. Twisting mountain roads, huge views, quiet towns and endless scenery made this one of the most enjoyable drives we’ve experienced in New Zealand so far. Along the way we also stop at one of New Zealand’s famous old railway stations, where local women once helped fight to keep the railway alive, becoming an important part of the region’s history. Whether you’re planning a New Zealand road trip, campervan adventure, motorcycle tour or South Island holiday, this route absolutely deserves a place on your itinerary. 🛒 Our Travel Shop: Explore our travel-tested gear & stickers: https://seanandemilytravels.com/shop 🗺️ Navigation App – calimoto: Get a 30-day free trial ➤ Use code: S&E30 Get 10% off yearly plans ➤ Use code: S&E10 Start here: https://linktr.ee/calimoto_SeanandEmily 🛟 Travel Safety – Protected by Global Rescue: Worldwide emergency rescue, evacuation, and medical support for overlanders:
