I used a new software to create two new wordless videos for use in speech therapy. Ever since I noticed that my students were mesmerized whenever I drew anything by hand, I wanted to do more with that. The element of suspense is everything (what is she drawing?) I've already used theses videos in sessions with kids that are hard to engage. Here's how I do it: before I start the video, I explain what we are going to cover. For these new videos, it's all about actions and using a complete sentence with a correctly conjugated verb to describe each video. So I stop at each frame and ask the students to tell me "What is the girl doing?" or ¿Qué hace la niña?" Most of my students say "corriendo" (running) or "leyendo" (reading). I expand their utterances by starting the sentence or giving them a full model, depending on the student. https://speechisbeautiful.com https://instagram.com/sarahwuslp
