Have you ever thought about being an adjunct professor? In this video I explain what an adjunct professor is because I think there might be confusion about what that means. Briefly, an adjunct professor is someone who is contracted by a college or university to teach a course. It's very much part-time because it can be just one course. I've adjuncted at two different universities (I'm in the Chicago suburbs so there are more schools around here) and I share a little bit about what it means. If you've ever thought about working in higher education, I think adjuncting is a great way to "dip your toe" into academia to decide if it's right for you.
