For a long time. 4️⃣ Churn Is Real Industry churn rates can sit between 60–75%. That’s insane. If your churn is above 30% consistently? You’ve got a problem. But here’s the thing: FOMO is real. Showing people the journey. Building community. Creating belonging. These are retention levers. Yes, they tap into psychology. But so does every successful product. 5️⃣ Keep It Simple I once had three membership tiers. Never again. It was an admin nightmare. Constant: “Can I upgrade?” “Can I swap?” “What’s included here?” Now? One option. Clean. Clear. Scalable. Complexity kills growth. 6️⃣ Marketing Is for Life Your membership will only grow as much as your marketing does. Every workshop you run? Market it publicly. Every replay? Market it publicly. Every insight? Market it publicly. There is no finish line. 7️⃣ Here’s the Challenge Set a date in the next 30 days. Run your first live event. Even if nobody shows up. Record it. Upload it. Promote it. The system can be built in a day. The only thing stopping you? Self-sabotage. Every day you delay is a day your competitors are building audience.
