Let me say this clearly. I still 100%, without hesitation, believe memberships are the most rewarding business model you can build. Not the fastest. Not the easiest. But the most rewarding. If you have the tenacity. If you have the commitment. If you’ve got the guts to stick with it. Because here’s what happens over time. 1️⃣ The Revenue Compounds If your membership is good… It grows. Slowly at first. Then steadily. Then meaningfully. Monthly recurring revenue builds. Predictable income stabilises your nervous system. You stop scrambling every month. You stop chasing one-off sales. You build momentum instead of resetting to zero. 2️⃣ The Impact Is Deeper Memberships aren’t transactional. They’re relational. You don’t just sell a course and disappear. You walk with people. For months. For years. You see their growth. You see their pivots. You see their breakthroughs. No other model gives you that kind of long-term involvement in someone’s life. 3️⃣ But Let’s Be Honest This is not easy. This is not: “Launch today, millionaire tomorrow.” This is long game. Rewards only come to those willing to work for them. So go into this with open eyes. Not fantasy. Commitment. 4️⃣ So What Do You Actually Put in a Membership? This is the number one question I get. “What should I include?” “Do I need new content every month?” No. You do not need to create new stuff every month. There are no membership rules carved in stone. You decide. 5️⃣ The Simplest Version Works For most speakers, coaches and educators… A perfectly valid membership looks like: -One monthly live training -One monthly Q&A That’s it. That’s enough. That’s powerful. That’s sustainable. You can literally: Set a Zoom date. Share the link. Show up. When I started, my membership shelf was empty. I ran the first workshop. No one attended. I recorded it anyway. Uploaded it. Promoted the replay. Two people joined. Next month? Eight. Then twenty-four. It builds. 6️⃣ Start Before You Feel Ready You do not need: A giant portal. Fifty pre-recorded courses. Perfect branding. You need: A date. A promise. Consistency. That’s it. Membership 101 is not about complexity. It’s about clarity and commitment. And if you can hold both? It will grow. More coming. I’m not done yet. Join Legends Lab at Sarahcordiner.com/legends Sarah x
