Whenever you teach something, show people the whole journey first. So here’s the whole journey of building a membership. Not fluffy. Not vague. Practical. These steps apply no matter what platform you use. Tekmatix. Kajabi. WordPress. Whatever. The core structure is the same. 1️⃣ Create the Product in Payments Before you sell anything… It has to exist. You go into your payments area and create: • Product name • Recurring price • Monthly billing That’s it. Ignore the fancy extras. Ignore the noise. A membership is recurring. Keep it monthly. Do not overcomplicate billing frequency. And please… No free trials. Your marketing is the free part. If they’re ready to pay, let them pay. 2️⃣ Build the Funnel Now that the product exists, you need: • Sales page • Checkout page • Thank you page That’s your 3-step funnel. Sales page = persuasion. Checkout = payment. Thank you = confirmation. Your checkout must connect to the product you created. Otherwise, no money moves. 3️⃣ Write the Sales Page Properly Don’t freestyle this. Use structure. • Big promise • Pain points • Solution • What they get • Bonuses • Call to action You can literally paste your membership outline into a sales page bot and let it structure the copy for you. Then paste it into your page builder. Done. 4️⃣ Create Portal Placeholders Before you have content… Create structure. Minimum: • Start Here • Live Call Dates & Links • Upcoming Workshops Even if they’re empty. Why? Because workflows need something to grant access to. Structure first. Content grows over time. 5️⃣ Bundle Everything Together Inside your course or membership offer, you bundle: • Welcome area • Live calls • All upcoming workshops So when someone buys… They get access to everything automatically. Not one lesson at a time. Not manually. Automated. 6️⃣ Keep It Simple Recurring monthly price. One clean funnel. Clear structure. No unnecessary extras. You don’t need: Fancy product media. Complicated price comparisons. Inventory tracking. You need: Name. Price. Recurring billing. Save. That’s it. This used to cost tens of thousands in custom development. Now it’s templates and logic.
