Let me say this clearly. Until very recently, I did not run paid ads. Not one. All of the millions of dollars I’ve earned came from free marketing methods. Organic content. Lead magnets. Email marketing. Consistent calls to action. That’s it. Here’s how it works. 1️⃣ Create Organic Content That Attracts You put helpful content out into the world: -Blog posts -Social posts -Videos -Podcasts -Free webinars That content brings people in. Not because you’re shouting “buy my stuff”. Because you’re helping. 2️⃣ Capture Them Into Your List Every single piece of marketing must do one of two things: -Get someone onto your list -Sell something That’s it. If your content doesn’t give people a way to join your list or buy, you’re just entertaining the internet for free. Lead magnets are how you convert attention into contacts. Free webinar. Free checklist. Free training. Free download. Give value. Collect the email. 3️⃣ Email the Helpful Stuff First This is where most people get it wrong. Your email is not: “Buy my thing. Buy my thing. Buy my thing.” Your email is: -Helpful tips -Practical advice -Useful insights -A short video -A lesson Education first. Value first. Always. 4️⃣ Then Add the CTA at the Bottom In the footer of every single email, I have something like: “Are you still thinking about getting [result]?” If so, here are the ways I can help you: -Book a call -Join the workshop -Join the membership -Buy the course Simple. Not pushy. Not aggressive. Just clear. Most people are not making sales because they are not telling people how to buy. We are not psychic. If I don’t know what you sell or where to click, I cannot give you money. 5️⃣ Every Email Should Either Grow or Sell If you’re sending emails, ask yourself: -Is this helping them? -Is there a clear next step? For me, 100% of the time, when I send an email to my list, at least one sale comes in. And often it’s more. That’s how I fill: -Bootcamps -Workshops -Events -Memberships Without ads. 6️⃣ A Handful of Emails Is Often Enough You don’t need 47 complicated launch emails. Usually, for me, a handful of: -Reminder -Value -Case study -Final call That’s enough to convert. Because they’re warm. They’ve been nurtured. They trust you. That’s the power of email marketing. It’s not flashy. It’s not trendy. It’s not sexy. But it works. 👉 https://sarahcordiner.com/legends More coming. I’m not done yet. Sarah x
