Brute forcing your way to more FPS using 2 GPU's in SLI configuration was an insane engineering feat that STILL deserves credit for just how ballsy it was. But I'm afraid taking risks like this is going to be a thing of the past. Companies just can't afford to take risks like they used to. The early to mid 2000 was peak technology, even though I couldn't afford any of it. It was when enthusiasts could design computers for enthusiasts, and the average consumer still had access to decent computers at an affordable price. But if AI continues to kill the PC industry, computers will just become a subscription, and all of these engineering marvels will be replaced by a MacBook Neo.
