Selling a product that relies on customer-supplied components to function introduces a variable that makes it a nightmare from a Customer Support standpoint. People installing the wrong type of RAM and opening a ticket with us, bombarding us with questions on whether 2666 will work vs 3200 etc. It's not worth it for anyone, especially when I no longer have an employee to handle customer support because I can't sell enough laptops to afford their salary. - Don't feel bad for me, as I stated in this video, I'll be perfectly fine. This whole business idea was created as a way to directly give back to people who wanted to donate to my cause. Kind of like a Patreon but with a product in exchange for money.
