The Birth of a Trail Dog-Coopers First Ride

I took our 4 month old puppy on his first real trail run/ride today at our local trails in San Lee Park. We started off easy and slow, I really wasn’t sure he would follow along with me on a ride for all that long. To my surprise he did amazing, never missed a turn or lagged behind. As long as I kept moving he kept following me. I’m excited to see what new challenges we can present to Cooper as he grows and gets faster and stronger. To days ride was only about 4 miles, I don’t think I want to go much further with him just yet. Eventually I’m sure he’ll be good for any ride I could bring him along on. More adventures with Cooper will undoubtedly be in the future! Stay tuned.
