PROTECT your IBIS Linkage From Damage! A 25 Cent Fix, REALLY!

I love my Ibis Ripmo AF and for good reason. The Ripmo AF is a solid over-performer everyday in every condition and I push it as far as I can. I ride in the rain and mud, hot and cold, snow and ice. Even the best bikes can be improved upon. IBIS has a world famous linkage and it's hard to beat but there is one weak point to this amazing linkage and it is the space between the saddle tube and the upper linkage. Rock and "stuff" can get caught in-between those two point and cause damage in the way of paint chips and potentially cracking the carbon frame. On the AF it is not as great a risk of breakage but still damage can happen. For a bout .25 cents in material I created a flap to prevent this damage. Take a look!
