Where can coach training take you?

In this video I share where ICF accredited coach training can take you talking about the different kinds of people and routes we see people taking when they train at Optimus Coach Academy. This includes: people who are retraining as they want to set up their own coaching business. Often these people will have experienced coaching and fallen in love with it. They want to support others whether that be individuals or organisations. We support people with this as we provide business resources: training and group mentoring as standard for all of our students during and after the course helping you to set up effectively. Even when you have a business as a coach there are plenty of options: working independently, working with an associate company, forming a partnership or working with a coaching app or provider. Or you can do a combination of these things. We've got graduates who've built their own associate companies and partnerships who are thriving. When you've got a business as a coach you might also consider what you do ; according to an ICF and PWC study 90% of coaches don't only coach : many facilitate, train, mentor, advise, consult, teach, speak or write : often this looks like workshops, team coaching, group coaching or keynotes. You need to consider what works best for your strengths and your target audience. If you're already a business owner you can add coaching into your business this might enhance what you already do or it could be an additional revenue stream. On the other side you might use your coaching qualification to help you get a new role as an internal coach or in HR, L&D and talent management. We've had graduates work across industries in these roles. Equally, coaching skills are in demand management and leadership skills so often our students get promotions during and after the course as these skills help them perform more effectively in their role.
