What does success mean to you? Many people who appear successful on the outside are not feeling it on the inside carrying guilt, shame and comparison or struggling to keep up with what they perceive success to be. This is often because our "success template" and what we believe success to be is influenced from society and may not be what makes someone feel fulfilled and happy. Many of us are programmed from a young age to believe specific job titles, houses, family structures and money equal success so we strive for these things believing they are the answer. However, often these things come at a cost and more and more people are recognising that they've sacrificed their well-being, relationships and time to achieve "success" and tick off the external goals yet on the inside the happiness and fulfillment are missing. If this resonates coaching can help : it gives you a space to acknowledge your feelings and re-evaluate what success means to you. By re-defining success and getting clarity on what it feels like and where you get meaning and fulfillment you can decide if you need to make a massive life shift or instead if it's smaller actionable tweaks, such as setting better boundaries or prioritizing personal connections over work. You can move away from the gilded cage you've created for yourself and find manageable ways to thrive recognising that what success looks like can evolve over time.
