Set nearly two decades after the events of The Godfather Part II, the story follows an aging Michael Corleone, played by Al Pacino, who seeks to legitimize his criminal empire and remove his family from the cycle of violence. Michael becomes involved in a complex financial deal with the Vatican, hoping to secure redemption and a lawful future, while the Mafia’s influence continues to pull him back into danger.
