About This Video
Hey fwends, I’m Runner the Labrador and yes… we are BACK. Like, not even gonna pretend it wasn’t a 2-year hiatus (oopsies). In this vlog, me, Zeke, and Emily roll out to Sedona, Arizona—about a 2-hour drive from our Phoenix home—because that 110° heat was absolutely RUDE. The plan was “relax,” but you know how that goes when there’s dogs, snacks, and adventure energy in the air.
We do some chill vacation stuff first (including a very serious moment where the humans get weirdly locked in watching hockey), and then it’s food time—aka I inhale my meal in like two seconds while Zeke takes his sweet, slow time. The next morning, Emily and my human take on a 6.5-mile hike on the Boynton Canyon Trail. It hurts not going with them, but they said after 5 miles they’d be sore, and there’s some sketchy curvy rock stuff where “holding Runner while tugging him” doesn’t sound fun (rude but fair). They even hunt down the secret turn for the Subway Cave spur—marked by a big juniper and an arrow—and yep, they find it. Then we end with the most important adventure of all: me and Emily playing fetch sock, because apparently my job is also laundry recovery.
