Nearly 60 and still snowboarding, thats me. "Up on the mountains we play" is a short film about some friends going skiing together for the day at the Sierra Nevada Ski Resort, Andalucia, Southern Spain. At the age of 57, all my friends are younger than me and thats great. I feel young when Im with them. I can do things with them that some people my age wouldnt necessarily do... Snowboarding is one such things. I love it, being up on the mountains, the scenery, the freshness of it all. Thats what keeps me young and I will continue to board for as long as I can. Not much beats the free ride feeling, the almost silence of floating over powder snow, carving down the mountainside. Rocking from side to side, left to right as you smile at every carve leaving a spray of white gold behind you... " It's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years.
