Spain’s Secret Disneyland WWII Fortress motorcycle rideout. Today we’re riding from Vera all the way to one of Spain’s most incredible Disneyland abandoned fortresses – the Batería de Castillitos. Epic roads, insane views, and a hidden WWII gem at the end… let’s go! Epic solo ride along Spain’s stunning Costa de Almería into the rugged mountains above Mazarrón… where hidden on the cliff tops lies something truly surreal. What looks like a fairytale Disneyland castle is actually the Batería de Castillitos, a 1920s military fortress designed to guard the port of Cartagena. Complete with medieval-style battlements, eerie tunnels carved into rock, and massive WWII Vickers 381mm naval guns capable of firing one-ton shells over 35 km, this forgotten fortress is both beautiful and terrifying.
