ANDORRA PAS DE LA CASA SKIING - A quick guide

Pas De La Casa, Andorra weekend snowboarding trip guide to the Grandvalira ski resort On Friday we decided to have a weekend up in Andorra. I booked a cheap hotel for 2 nights and went home to pack. We left early Saturday morning at 04.30h to drive the 841 kms and 9 hours to Pas de la Casa in Andorra. the drive up was actually quite fun. The scenery changes quite a lot following up the coast, especially after Barcelona. The drive through Monserat and the mountains is particularly spectacular passing through various quaint rural villages. Then 2 hours after Barcelona driving along more densely snow packed mountains we arrived Saturday afternoon in Pas de la Cada at 13.30h. We checked into the hotel, had a walk around. Met some friends and the next day Sunday had a fantastic days snowboarding with my mate covering over 60kms, whilst our girlfriends stayed on ther nursery slopes. Saturday night was the Spanish 3 kings celebrations, the equivalent of Christmas for them. and then to bed early to drive home Monday morning CRAZY !
