In this episode of my Honda EG build series, I’m getting stuck into the sound install on my Honda Ballade EG 180i (B20B8). I grabbed a couple of the boys, we made a mission of it, and we started stripping the car down so we can lay the sound properly. It’s not a fancy “shop only” vibe — it’s real garage energy, hands dirty, panels out, and figuring it out as we go. The goal here is simple: make the EG feel tighter, quieter, and more solid, especially with the kind of driving and road trips I want to do with this build. Sound deadening is one of those things you don’t always see on camera once everything is back together, but you feel it every time you drive. And obviously… gatmaak as usual — because that’s how our builds go. If you’re building an EG (or any street car) and you want it to feel more premium without losing the culture, this is one of those steps that’s 100% worth doing.
