About This Video

Another day in the EG build series and, as usual, the car had other plans. In this episode my Honda Ballade EG 180i (B20B8) hit me with a burst water pipe, which meant I had to stop what I wanted to do and deal with what the car needed right now. That’s the reality of building—unplanned changes are part of the process, and if you want to keep your build alive, you adapt and keep moving. I take you through replacing the water pipe and I don’t just slap in another tired OEM piece—I use the opportunity to add a few aftermarket goodies while I’m in there. The main takeaway is simple: when something fails, don’t panic, don’t cut corners, and don’t ignore it. Fix it properly, upgrade where it makes sense, and keep building your vision—because we refuse to comply with “good enough.”
