About This Video

Hey everyone, welcome to Day 2 of our 10-days California road trip. This vlog is less about perfect views and more about real travel with a baby—Vegas to LA with my 8-month-old, Eshaani. I’m sharing my realistic travel day routine: I start with her morning care (baby first, shower later), get her all excited in front of the mirror (she literally gets so happy hearing her name), and then we do breakfast. For her food, we carried ready-to-eat mixes like ragi (dry roasted in ghee), oats-makhana with mango, and even moong dal-chawal powder—just mix with hot water and it’s ready. I also show how I pack her diaper bag, outfits (summer + winter options), medicines, and her comfort toy that we take on every trip. After IHOP breakfast (and a nursing break because baby travel means you have to slow down—and that’s okay), we did a Costco run for road trip essentials like water bottles, bananas, and cherry tomatoes. Then we hit the I-15 South and drove through the mountain landscape, took a Starbucks break, and reached LA for a quick hotel check-in (and yes, I compared prices—our 3-star LA hotel cost more than the 4-star Vegas one!). We tried Griffith Observatory for the Hollywood Sign at sunset and almost missed it because parking was crazy, but we still got that gorgeous city view. I also opened up about postpartum being harder than I expected—weight gain, crying, hair fall—and how this trip helped me feel a little more like myself. The video isn’t “perfect quality,” but the memories are real, and that matters the most to me.
