Hello everybody! In this video I’m taking you along with me, Sunny, and our little Ishani to Riverbanks Zoo & Garden in Columbia, South Carolina. This visit was extra special because it was Ishani’s 7th month birthday, and we’ve been trying to take her to different places for her monthly milestones—honestly time is flying, she’s like “running as a race.” I start the vlog right at the entrance and then we explore the zoo step-by-step as a family adventure. We first checked out the grizzly bear (and Ishani was not scared at all), then saw super playful sea otters, and even learned fun facts about baboons—yes, they can swim and they have 32 teeth like humans. My hands-down favorite part was seeing flamingos for the first time; they were stunning, and I shared why they’re pink and how they can balance on one leg for hours. We also did the train ride, talked about how kid-friendly the zoo is with washrooms everywhere (so diaper changes are stress-free), and I showed you the activities like the carousel, giraffe feeding timings (you need to reach before around 3–3:30), and the Explore More prepaid card that you can even use for food and it stays valid for one year. We wrapped up after 5 PM—tired but happy—and I hope this helps you plan a fun family day here.
