A lot of you tech people really like the “white” motherboard look, so I took a walk-through look at the MSI X870E Edge Ti WIFI. And yes—this is the funny part—it looks white from afar, but up close it’s really a mix of grayscale, silver, and black, with only a few true white highlights like the back IO and the ARGB headers. What makes it stand out for me is the shiny/polished surfaces on the VRM heatsinks, the top M.2 heatsink, and the PCH area, plus the MSI dragon on the knob bridge that lights up. In this video I do my usual motherboard run: back IO (Flash BIOS + Clear CMOS buttons, dual USB-C 40Gbps, lots of USB-A, 5G LAN, Wi‑Fi 7, and audio), then front IO (including a right-angled USB-C 20Gbps header), and then the main board layout. I like that the headers and connectors are clearly labeled with big text, and MSI includes the easy front panel cable which genuinely saves your brain if you hate fiddling with front panel leads. I also break down storage and expansion: four M.2 slots (two Gen 5, two Gen 4), push-and-lift heatsinks, and MSI’s ball-clip style retention that’s a hit-and-miss for me. Finally, I cover the PCIe layout and the white easy PCIe release button—which I’m still not fully a fan of, but I can get used to it.
