If you’re looking for a really white board, look no further—this Gigabyte X870 AORUS Stealth Ice honestly ticks all of my “white board” boxes. In this video I do a full overview from the (super cool) unboxing all the way to a quick boot + BIOS look. Even though my unit came from a Computex 2025 showcase build and the box had seen better days, Gigabyte’s packaging layout is one of the best I’ve opened in a long time—separate sections for the Wi‑Fi 7 antenna, SATA cables, G‑connector, and even the M.2 pads. The board itself feels like a fortress: it’s heavier than the X870E Pro Ice because of the extra thermal armor and the backplate (and yes, this is a back-connect “Stealth” board, so cable management can be way cleaner if you have a compatible case). I go through the rear I/O (dual USB4, lots of USB, HDMI 2.1), the fact that Wi‑Fi 7 works without me installing a driver, and the big upgrade to 5GbE. Then I cover the headers, Q‑code + debug LEDs, onboard buttons, and the M.2/PCIe layout—including the lane-sharing tradeoff where using the 4th M.2 disables the bottom PCIe slot. I finish by testing boot time (about 20 seconds memory training on my setup) and checking out the new white BIOS with that animated “Stealth” text—possible thanks to the expanded 64MB BIOS. Overall, it’s a unique mix of true-white aesthetics, thick armor design, and practical stealth/back-connect convenience.
